Special Care Instructions
for your Swarovski Crystal flip flops & Crystal Sneakers!!!!
Swarovski crystal Havaianas are hand-made by placing each crystal, one at a time, and gluing them on using the strongest adhesive available. They should NOT be treated like a regular pair of flip flops. Special care is required to ensure they bring you months and months of bling bliss!
Below are the most important things to consider when caring for your Swarovski Havaianas:
1) NEVER LEAVE IN THE SUN OR A HOT CAR!
Havaianas are made of 100% rubber. Extreme heat will cause the rubber to expand which causes the strap to become sticky and the crystals may then shift. The adhesive itself is not affected by heat but since the rubber is - avoid heat whenever possible!
2) ALWAYS STORE IN A COOL PLACE
3) SAVE BOX THAT YOUR SHOES CAME IN FOR TRAVEL AND STORAGE
FOR TRAVEL - Please be very careful when packing your crystal havaianas for a trip. The crystal straps need to be carefully wrapped in bubble wrap to protect them from being squashed. Any significant pressure placed on the crystalled straps may cause crystals to shift. It is recommended that you carry them in your hand-luggage whenever possible - if that is not possible, please use the box they came in to pack them in your suitcase.
4) WE PROVIDE A LIFETIME SUPPLY OF CRYSTALS FOR REPAIR!
We always send a few extra crystals with each pair and are happy to mail more in the future, if they are ever needed. Please email us if you need some extras and we will happily mail them for you!
